Bellevue, Washington-based Intelius, Inc., a company that supplies information to ensure safety for individuals, families, and businesses, affirmed its commitment to community youth by collaborating with the Bellevue Boys and Girls Club in celebration of the National Boys and Girls Club Week which transpired last March 20-28.
Youth development is a core value at Intellius, and the company is doing its part to the utmost in order to contribute by sponsoring youth-oriented initiatives in the Seattle area and elsewhere.
Being a sincere community partner, the company has been party to a five-year sponsorship for the benefit of the Boys and Girls Club of Bellevue, providing funding and volunteer services to support its numerous youth programs throughout the year. It also recently supplied the club with discounted background checks on potential employees and child care handlers to ensure that the children are guided by responsible adults.
At the gathering of 200 youths at the South Bellevue Community Center, Intellius joined in the kickoff celebration, as well as the launching of the “Be Great” Campaign. Both events focus on youth development — achieving confidence, taking responsibility, and leadership roles, and being educated on how to make positive choices on health and education.
Intelius, as a company that emphasizes on the importance of information as one of the factors of success in day-to-day decision-making processes, bolsters anew its commitment to support the youth’s role in nation-building by continuing to support youth advocacy and encouraging the youth to become productive socially-responsible adults and citizens someday.
For its part, the Boys and Girls Club is proud to be Intelius’ partner because through its continuing support, the club has launched programs that have remarkable impacts in the community.
Anu Jain, the company’s Vice-President of Community Relations, and wife to Founder and CEO Naveen Jain, is equally proud of its relationship with the club and committed continuing support and strengthened relations in the future.
