Getting the Baby around

Posted on Sunday 30 November 2008

Strollers are one of the most important things that you will buy for the baby. All I have to say is go out there and test-drive them. Strollers range from under $100 to over $1,000. After a few trips out to the stores, and after reading stroller reviews, I settled on the Orbit Stroller, the Cadillac Escalade of strollers. It’s ridiculous how much this thing cost, but from my testing it was clearly the best by far. Airplane grade aluminum, ballistic grade nylon shell, it is light in weight, and it looks cool.

I will let you decide for yourself, just know that you will be using this thing for a long time, and you need to focus on quality and ease. Car seats require the same thing, go out there and test the stuff out, talk to your friends. Lots of great strollers are also the car seat. When the baby is just an infant you will be toting this little person all over the place, and it need to be easy for you take the babe too. You need to remember that most of the time the baby will be sleeping, and if you can keep the baby in the seat, and move it from the stroller directly to the car you will save yourself time and grief. Make sure that the stroller and seats are easy to maneuver and get in and out of the car quickly. The ones with a separate base to just click the seat in are the best and that is just my opinion.
